Relevant technical move with rising volumes. Useful to monitor confirmation and spot ETF reaction over the next hours.
Cloud growth above consensus. Possible sentiment impact because AWS carries a large share of group profitability.
Relevant order for backlog and revenue visibility. Likely to attract market attention over the next sessions.
Generic press releases, reposts and news with no direct impact are not sent.
The problem
Even a small watchlist can generate hundreds of articles per week: press releases, reposts, generic analysis, rumours and macro news. The problem is not finding more news, but quickly knowing what deserves attention.
Stock Monitor scans sources every 15 minutes, passes headlines to Claude Sonnet by Anthropic and only notifies events with possible price impact. If the news is routine, it stays out of your day.
How it actually works
Every 15 minutes, Claude Sonnet by Anthropic reads the latest news headlines for the assets in your watchlist. It independently decides whether the event could move the price. If yes: you get the notification with the analysis and links to sources. If it's routine — a standard press release, a generic sector report — it's filtered out silently. Around 80% of news is filtered.
↓ Real example: here's the notification I received for Amazon.
The product
Add stocks by name or ISIN, or crypto by symbol (e.g. BTC, ETH). Re-read all received notifications with links to the original sources. Manage your preferences. Accessible from any browser on PC and smartphone.
What else it does for you
Know 3 days in advance when a company in your watchlist will publish its quarterly report. No surprises.
Search listed stocks (US, Europe, Asia) by name or ISIN, or the leading cryptocurrencies by name or symbol. All in a single watchlist.
The system runs in the background every 15 minutes, even when your PC is off. You are always covered, from any time zone.
Search for a stock by name or ISIN (e.g. "Apple") or a cryptocurrency by name or symbol (e.g. "Bitcoin" or "BTC") and add it to your personal watchlist in one click.
Every 15 minutes the system collects the latest news from financial and crypto-specific sources, and passes them to AI for relevance evaluation.
If the AI thinks the news could impact the price, it sends you a Telegram message with the analysis in your language and links to the sources. If it's routine, silence.
Honest upfront
It only alerts you when potentially price-moving news comes out on an asset you've already added to your watchlist. What you do with that information is up to you.
Who's behind this
I am an independent developer studying computer engineering while working full-time at an Italian software company. Stock Monitor came from a concrete problem: following financial assets without spending hours across feeds, newsletters and browser tabs.
I use it on my personal watchlist and build it around a simple product rule: notify less, but better. Every decision is aimed at reducing noise, delays and false alarms.

No. The system runs on a dedicated server 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You receive notifications directly on Telegram regardless of what you're doing.
Yes to both. For US stocks we use Finnhub; for European and Asian stocks (ENI, Stellantis, ASML, etc.) we use yfinance and Google News RSS. For cryptocurrencies we use CoinGecko for prices and details and CryptoCompare for news, covering the leading coins (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.).
Yes, Stock Monitor is currently free for all users, with no time limit and no credit card required. We may introduce paid plans in the future, but we'll give you advance notice.
It depends on how many assets you monitor (stocks or crypto) and how active they are. Quiet days: zero notifications. Important news days: 2-5. The AI aggressively filters routine news.
